Gyproc Singapore collaborates with Singapore Institute of Architects' (SIA) Young Architectural League (YAL)
Gyproc Singapore was honoured to collaborate with the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) again, this time with the Young Architectural League (YAL) during their Open Studio Session on 31st January 2019.
YAL is an initiative by the SIA to engage and nurture the younger architectural community in Singapore. They organise various programmes and events for both young professionals and students and through it, nurture a community of future architects who believe in sharing, collaborating and see new ideas take flight.
The projects presented by the young architects during this Open Studio Session displayed a strong sense of environmental and social consciousness. It is very relevant to Saint-Gobain's Multi Comfort approach which emphasizes on designs that incorporate sustainable (including environmental, economic and social factors), comfortable (such as high thermal comfort, visual comfort, acoustic comfort, indoor air quality and fire / safety protection) and innovative approaches to architecture.
