Activ'Air
Almost everything within an indoor environment contains formaldehyde and daily exposure to it causes a long list of health problems.
To combat this problem, Gyproc® designed Activ'Air, a plasterboard with air purifying effect that is able to function and last up to 50 years.
Gyproc® Activ’Air® captures formaldehyde filled gases in the air and converts formaldehyde and aldehydes into inert compounds. It then traps formaldehyde within the board for up to 50 years, based on tests and analysis.
This high-performance gypsum board consisting of an aerated gypsum core with special additive encased and firmly bonded to strong paper liners.

- Tested and proven by international test laboratories and research programs, certified by TÜV SÜD PSB Pte Ltd
- Non-combustible in accordance to BS 476: Part 4
- Water absorption ≤5% in compliance to BS EN 520
Class H1 - Class 1 surface spread of flame in accordance to BS 476: Part 7
Application
Suitable for use as wall and ceiling systems in all conditions with or without direct decoration. It can be integrated into product use in fire, structural, and acoustical purposes.
