ShaftLiner
Confined spaces or those that have only one point of access can pose high risk in the event of a fire. A shaftwall system is a protective structure designed to provide protection in such spaces. ShaftLiner can be incorporated at an early stage to any construction project without the need for scaffolding. And it can also be fully assembled from the room side of the shaft as it can be built from just one side.

- Meets severe duty rating in accordance with BS 5234: Part 2
- Non-combustible in accordance to BS 476: Part 4
- Low fire propagation in accordance to BS 476: Part 6
- Class 1 surface spread of flame in accordance to BS 476: Part 7
- Classified as Class 0 material in accordance to local building regulations
- Low flame spread index < 25 in accordance to ASTM E84
Application
Gyproc® ShaftWall system can be used in commercial areas such as offices, shops, hotels, institutions and hospitals.
As part of the Gyproc® ShaftWall system, the Gyproc® ShaftLiner comes with customised GypFrame® CH-Stud and GypFrame® E-Stud, with channel section and parameter abutments. It is located between the studs and is secured using GypFrame® Head Runner and GypFrame® J-Runner.
